Gamekeeper (Arcade Attendant)

Status: Full and Part-Time / Hourly
Reports To: Store Manager

Position Summary:
The Gamekeeper is the frontline face of the arcade, responsible for creating a fun, welcoming experience for every guest. This role handles transactions, restocks prizes, maintains cleanliness, and assists with daily operations to keep the arcade running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests with enthusiasm, professionalism, and a focus on outstanding customer service

• Promote token packages, arcade promotions, and loyalty programs

• Assist customers with operating claw machines and redeeming prizes

• Operate the POS system for transactions and reloads

• Answer guest questions and resolve issues promptly and professionally

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe arcade environment, including machines and store presentation

• Restock plushies, prizes, and merchandise regularly

• Monitor token usage and track inventory as needed

• Report any technical or maintenance issues to management

• Perform opening, mid-shift, and closing duties, including register counts and store prep

• Create a fun and memorable experience that encourages repeat visits

Skills & Requirements:

• Friendly, upbeat, and confident communicator with strong customer service skills

• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Comfortable with basic technology, including POS systems and mobile apps

• Basic math and cash handling skills

• Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service preferred

• Must be at least 16 years old

• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
